In a historic townhouse on Tyrševa Street in Maribor—home to the art studio “Soba Kuhna Kabinet”—we installed large‐format oiled oak parquet by Kerowood in a herringbone pattern beneath vaulted ceilings and high walls. The parquet brings warmth, a strong stylistic accent, and seamlessly links the contemporary art furnishings with the building’s traditional architecture. This classic herringbone layout is making a comeback in modern interiors, especially when paired with natural oiled oak. The project merges historical charm with contemporary artistic expression.
